According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Amy Gentry, 33, 1201 Spruce Street Apt. #202, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 12:33 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Gentry was seen taking a diaper bag from the store. Gentry then took other items from the shelves, removed the price tags, and concealed them inside the diaper bag. Gentry left the store without paying for the goods. She was released on a summons to appear in court on December 11, 2013.
Naomi Courville, 36, 410 Bush Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 1:37 pm on warrants for issuing worthless checks (4 counts). A deputy located Courville at her residence on the warrant. She was released on a summons to appear on court on December 11, 2013.
Norman Alexander, 30, 247 Highway 317 Centerville, LA was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 7:03 pm for violating the parish leash law. A deputy responded to a complaint of a dog attack. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Alexander’s dog entered a neighbor’s property and attacked another dog. Alexander was released on a summons to appear in court on December 11, 2013.
Chase A. Rebardi, 21, 3190 First Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on September 6, 2013 at 2:34 am on a warrant for second degree battery. Rebardi turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville after learning of the warrant for his arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation into an altercation at a bar in Bayou Vista. During an argument, Rebardi struck a male victim in the head with his fist causing the victim to lose consciousness. Rebardi was booked into the parish jail. No bond is set.

Sharon Gautreaux, 61, 1311 Front St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 5:04 pm on the following charges:
Distribution of Schedule II (Vyvanse), 2 counts
Possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse) with intent to distribute
Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile
Raymond Lee Gautreaux, 19, 105 Bridge Rd. Patterson, LA was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 5:04 pm for possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.
Juvenile male, 16, Morgan City was arrested on September 5, 2013 at 5:04 pm for possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse) with intent to distribute.
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Morgan City area observed the driver of a vehicle fail to signal a turn onto Mayon St. and conducted a traffic stop. As the vehicle came to a stop, one of the passengers, later identified as a juvenile, got out of the vehicle and attempted to walk away. Detectives made contact with him and the driver who was identified as Sharon Gautreaux.
During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the juvenile had in his possession Sharon Gautreaux’s prescription bottle for Vyvanse which contained Vyvanse pills. Raymond Gautreaux was also found to be in possession of Vyvanse. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Sharon Gautreaux gave her prescription pills to both the juvenile and to Raymond Gautreaux. The juvenile was released to his mother pending juvenile court proceedings. S. Gautreaux and R. Gautreaux were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. The vehicle was seized pending forfeiture.
